the American Readers Theatre Company “A Night with
Poe” adaptations
of four works of Edgar Allan Poe. Dramatic readings were a common
form of entertainment for 19th century families. Selected works of
Edgar Allen Poe were included in the Pinchots’ personal library
collection.
