DESCRIPTION:Earn your Forestry merit badge in one day!​\n3rd Annual Forestry Merit Badge Day\nJoin us at the Grey Towers National Historic Site\, the ancestral home of Gifford Pinchot\, the first Chief of the United States Forest Service (USFS)\, to earn your Forestry merit badge in a fun\, hands-on\,​ educational workshop offered in May 2025.​ \n  \nThe forest is your classroom…​\nWith the help of the US Forest Service and other Forest Enthusiasts\, Scouts can work to complete the Forestry merit badge requirements\, Scouts will explore the remarkable complexity of a forest and identify many species of trees and plants and the roles they play in a forest’s life cycle.
