DESCRIPTION:Dramatic performances were a popular form of entertainment when Grey Towers was occupied by the Pinchot family in the late 1800s through the mid-twentieth century. The US Forest Service and Grey Towers Heritage Association have re-created these literary programs with readings and dramatizations. \n  \nThe 47th annual performance of Charles Dickens’ immortal classic A Christmas Carol.\nThis 90-minute performance features the original text by Charles Dickens as he himself performed it during his reading tour of America. For 47 years\, one or more members of the Plummer family have presented this performance in the Great Hall of Grey Towers. This year\, Joe Plummer\, Jr. continues this proud holiday tradition. \nThis show is not recommended for children under the age of 10. \n$15 Students / $25 Members / $35 General Public \nTickets will be made available to Grey Towers Heritage Assoc. Members first\, nearer to the performance date. \nBecome a member to support Grey Towers programming and have access to earlier and discounted events. \n  \nJoe Plummer Jr\, Narrator/Dramatic Performer\, is A visionary leader and Emmy and Tony-winning producer. He is President and Producer at Wavelength\, overseeing all in-house production and investment across non-scripted and scripted films\, theater\, and branded content. With an illustrious career spanning a variety of mediums\, Joe is known for supporting stories that reveal our common humanity and championing individuals of cultural impact.  Before Wavelength\, Joe made waves in non-fiction programming\, leaving mark on networks like TRU TV and Discovery. As the founder of Gotta Kid To Feed Productions\, he pioneered orginal content for esteemed platforms like ESPN\, Nickelodeon\, The Food Network\, and HGTV\, showcasing his versality and ingenuity.
