Ice Cream Social for Gifford Pinchot’s Birthday & free Concert by House of Hamill

Help us celebrate Gifford’s birthday with our traditional Ice Cream Social then sit back and enjoy the beautiful classical music provided for your pleasure by Kindred Spirits Arts.

1 pm – 4 pm Museum Tour special reduced fee of $5.
It’s your chance to see two new special exhibits.

3 pm – 6 pm = Ice Cream Social

3 pm – 6pm = Smokey Bear Masks
Kids can participate in creating fun, bear masks in honor of Smokey Bear under the covered pool pavilion.

3 pm – 5:30pm = House of Hamill: Upcycled Celtic Folk 
Kindred Spirits Arts Programs in collaboration with Grey Towers Heritage Association is bringing to House of Hamill, an award-winning trio, to delight and excite our audiences with their fresh take on familiar and new Celtic folk songs.

Their original song “Banks of the Brandywine” was a Grand Prize winner in the 2024 John Lennon Songwriting Contest, and the video for their all-violin cover of “Sweet Child O’ Mine” amassed over 16 million views on Facebook, where it was shared over 400,000 times.
