
If Trees Could Talk: Guided Hike
Dr. Paul Kovalski, GTHA member and Dentist by profession, retired as Chief of Dental Services at Greystone Park Psychiatric Hospital, New Jersey Department of Health.
Kovalski is fascinated by the secrets hidden in bones, ancient and modern, and is well known as “Dr. Dinosaur” for his paleontological discoveries. He is also a tree enthusiast.
When Paul served as a Marlboro Township Councilman, he set out to save the “Marlboro Tree,” a gigantic old willow which was the largest in the state.
His guided hike will highlight the more than 25 varieties of trees beloved by the Pinchot family.
- This is an easy walk (many seniors have attended in the past).
- We will likely stay on the “paved” trails. However, sturdy shoes are recommended.
- Meet at the lower parking lot by the Pavilion.
