Thinking Inside the Box
The Pike County Historical Society was established on this date in 1930. Gifford Pinchot served as their first honorary President.
In recognition of this, Grey Towers Heritage Association (GTHA) is partnering with the Pike County Historical Society to sponsor a presentation of “Thinking Inside the Box” a firsthand account of the three women in the Presidential box the night Lincoln was killed (which also took place in April).
The performance will be followed by a reception and viewing of the famed Lincoln Flag on the main floor of the museum.
