Seminar: How to Volunteer at Grey Towers
While Spring may not “be in the air” yet, there is a new Season for Grey Towers Heritage Association!
Working in partnership with the US Forest Service, GTHA provides assistance with programming and events rooted in celebrating the Pinchot legacy of conservation, hospitality and civic responsibility. Together, we have planned a wide range of opportunities focusing on history, the arts, science, and conservation.
The Forest Service is sponsoring a workshop for those individuals who would like to become volunteers for the upcoming season.
Opportunities range from:
- Being a docent
- Maintaining the gardens and grounds
- Helping to operate the gift shop
- Support during events and programs
If interested in joining us, please RSVP below.
We’re looking for Board Members, too!
The Board of Grey Towers is also looking for new Board members to help guide and support our work and mission. It reads:
To assist the US Forest Service in education, improvements, promotion, conservation, and wise use of Grey Towers National Historic Site. Your commitment of time and talent will reward you one hundredfold.
If you are interested in learning more visit our Board of Directors page and fill out the application. Or, please email Eileen Smith, President GTHA EileenSmailBox@aol.com.
